Please consider having your student attend the LISD band camp this summer! If a student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, then the camp fee lowers to $50. If you need further financial assistance, please email me at desotod@lisd.net so I can speak with boosters about a partial scholarship.

Band parents and families,
We are EXCITED to invite your child to attend our LISD Band Camp this summer! At our band camp, our students will play awesome music, get to play special section pieces (ensembles), make new friends, and most of all…have FUN!

LISD Band Camp Registration 2023
Dates: June 5-9, 2023
Location: Flower Mound High School
Cost: $80 — please pay online (preferred) or by cash/check
(If your child qualifies for free/reduced lunch, you may select to pay a discounted rate.)
Band 1 (Advanced) is for students who have already been in a full band class this past year, so it will be almost entirely students who have just completed 7th or 8th grade.
Band 2 (Intermediate) is for students who have just completed beginning band (their first year of band), which will be almost entirely students who have just completed 6th grade.
Times for Band 1: 1:00 pm-5:00 pm each day
End-of-camp concert at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 9
Times for Band 2: 8:00 am-12:00 pm each day
End-of-camp concert at 10:00 am on Friday, June 9
There is also a party (optional) for band camp students at Andretti’s in The Colony that happens Thursday, June 8 after camp from 6:00 to 8:00 pm! Students bring $20 to Andretti's and get access to activities, a game card, pizza, and a drink. (Transportation not provided by the camp.)
